Legendary outlaw Jesse James is said to have buried his gold somewhere in the hills of Mulmur.  After holding up a Wells Fargo train in 1870 Jesse James fled to Canada and buried gold somewhere along the 10th Sideroad. Treasure hunters and amateur historians have been chasing the gold since the 1900s. In the early 1970s and 80s the 10 Sideroad was dug up in several locations…but the gold is yet to be found.
