Farming and agriculture is the foundation of Dufferin County.  Our community was established by European settlers primarily from Ireland, Scotland and England who came to Canada in search of a better life.  They worked hard to clear the land and establish homesteads.  These farmers were tough and determined, and are the backbone to what we know today.  This design is a tribute to our history and to Dufferin County's farming community.
